Welcome to

At Guttenberg Castle in the Odenwald, you can experience birds of prey shows featuring eagles, vultures, and more. Before or after the show, you will have the opportunity to explore the castle's aviaries, which are home to around 120 birds, as well as exhibitions and sculptures. Around 60 large birds of prey and owls live at Guttenberg Castle. During spectacular flight demonstrations by the German Bird of Prey Sanctuary at Guttenberg Castle, you can marvel at huge birds such as monk vultures, griffon vultures, and bearded vultures, as well as their mighty counterparts such as sea eagles, golden eagles, and imperial eagles. ### Flight demonstrations by the Greifenwarte During the flight demonstrations, the birds circle above the beautiful Neckar Valley and fly over the heads of the guests. The falconers impart exciting knowledge about the rulers of the skies. ### Tour of the Greifenwarte During a tour of the kennel facility, visitors also gain a natural insight into the fascinating world of birds of prey. Interactive touchscreen stations and two display cases show selected birds of prey in their typical habitats and various medium-sized and small birds of prey from Europe. ### Falconry lessons & more Experience birds of prey up close during a falconry lesson or an exclusive photo shoot.
