Welcome to Arnstadt Pheasantry Zoo

The Fasanerie Zoo is one of the most popular destinations in the region. Children's eyes light up and unforgettable moments for the whole family are not uncommon here. Around 50 mainly native animal species live on an area of ​​2.5 hectares. In addition to fallow deer, mouflons and sheep, the Fasanerie Zoo is also home to donkeys, ponies, guinea pigs and rabbits. Among the exotic animals, the ring-tailed lemurs are the absolute crowd favorites. The large playground with climbing frames, swings and carousels is particularly popular with children. A snack bar right next door invites you to linger in the summer months. The well-kept grounds are largely barrier-free. So nothing stands in the way of a tour with a wheelchair or stroller. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
